Eh ... not really sure if I can explain it since it's confusing to me too and it seems like no one else is experiencing it.

My vision self isn't willing to accept me as the same individual as them, but I'm not weak enough that he can just take over and dismiss this life in Port Manteau as fake and worthless. I'm also not willing to accept him as part of me because of what he's done and how he behaved, so... ?

I guess you could just chalk it up to me being unstable if that's easier. That's what everyone else has done that knows, I think. Not that I really care what they think, either, so I don't mean that bitterly.
